Here I stand!

As you were all wondering: they have the bible in Colombian hotels!

Also, I am here safely. Ready to start the ad-ven-ture! :)

I got many an odd look as a traveled with my French horn today. The good news is that it made it here unscathed, as did I! Some of my clothes smell like French horn (new French horn, so it's not that bad), but that's balanced weirdly by the mixed Yankee Candle smells that grace the rest of my clothing. 

The street/highways signs here are green with white writing - am I still in the U.S.? Tomorrow the real fun begins, as we become oriented and meet more Colombians. I have met many of the Americans, who are nice, and one of whom is from Buffalo! Wow! Hasta la vista.
